Adults $5; Children 12 & under $3 8:00 AM: "One Hill of a Run" (Irene B. French Community Center) - 5K Run/Walk/Youth Sprints. Start/finish at 57th & Merriam Drive. A "hilly" but FUN course. Youth Sprints on Merriam Drive. To register contact Merriam Parks & Recreation Department at 913-322-5550. 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Petting Zoo, pony rides, kids inflatable games (Antioch Park) - Build a wooden project (sponsored by Home Depot), or take a train ride. Paddle boat rides, roving clowns, caricaturist, and much more! FREE CONCERTS! From noon to 5:00 PM enjoy the sounds of these local artists at various locations in the park: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Concert featuring "Funky Momma" (Main Stage) 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM Concert featuring "Bill Crain Group" (Fire Pit Stage) 2:00 - 4:00 PM Concert featuring "51% Blues" (Main Stage) PLUS...arts
