Applicants for public safety positions may be subject to the following: physical fitness testing, polygraphs, background investigations, reference checks, psychological exams. Where inquiries into credit worthiness are conducted, the applicant will receive a copy of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. 

Hiring Process

1. Grammar Test and Video Test 
     • If desired, a practice video test can be taken on the ErgoMetrics website at the applicant's expense.
     • Complete the Personal History Statement and bring it to the testing session to turn it in

     • 20 Minute Writing Test 
     • Fingerprints
     • Photograph
     • Waiver Collection
          o PAT Waiver 
          o Consumer Report Waiver 
          o Authorization to Release Information 
     • Personal History Review
