29th Annual Merriam Turkey Creek Festival

Saturday, May 17th
Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch Rd.
10:00am-5:00pm

All activities (except 5K Run) take place at the beautiful, Antioch Park.
The day is filled with events for everyone to enjoy, most of the activities are FREE!   
    
    SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 

  • Pancake Breakfast:  7:00 am - 11:00 am
        Sponsored by Merriam Lions Club (Shelter #1) - All you can eat pancakes, sausage, 
        coffee & juice.  Adults $5/Children 12 & under $3
  • Turkey Creek Festival 5K Run/Walk/Youth Sprint:  8:00 am
        New this year . . . Chip Timing & Results!   Starts at the Irene B. French Community
        Center.  Benefits the Merriam Parks, Recreation & Community Center Foundation Youth Scholarship

  • Arts & Crafts:  10:00 am - 4:00 pm
        Summertime Arts & Crafts (Antioch Park) - Artisans will be selling their handmade arts & crafts.

  • Kid Zone:  10:00 am - 4:00 pm
    Inflatable games, A-Z Petting Zoo, Train rides, pedal boat rides, wood project by Home Depot-Merriam, interactive free art, and much more!
  • FREE CONCERTS!
        Main Stage:       11:00am - 1:00pm       -    "AnnaLee and The Lucky So and Sos" (Jazz/Swing)
        Fire Circle:         12:30pm                     -   "Janie Next Door" (Children's Music)
        Main Stage:       2:00pm - 4:00pm        -    "Tracy Allison and the Drive" (Country)

Parking:
Limited parking is available in the south lot at Antioch Park.  FREE shuttle buses from Lee Apparel parking lot, 9001 W. 67th Street, every 10 minutes.  Buses will drop festival goers off at the front entrance of Antioch Park with courtesy carts taking you from the entrance to the festival area.

Volunteers:
We always need volunteers to help in these areas:
    Merriam Parks and Recreation information booth
    Golf cart drivers
    Wood projects with children
    5K Run volunteers
