New to Merriam. . . A walking club of sorts. Residents can hit the trail on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and/or Saturday mornings to enjoy strolling down the Merriam Streamway trail system. The group will meet at the 71st and Switzer entrance of the new trail extension at 6:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings and/or 10:00am on Saturday mornings. Walk and talk with neighbors, friends, pets (on leach) and relatives. To register contact the Parks and Recreation office at 913-322-5550.
