FREE SWIM ON OPENING DAY -
Be our guest on opening day at the Merriam Aquatic Center, May 25th. All Merriam & Johnson County residents receive FREE ADMISSION! You must bring a photo drivers license for proof of residence. Hours are noon - 8:00pm.
Merriam Resident Daily Admission Fees
Youth 17 & under: $4.00
Adults 18 & over: $4.50
Proof of Merriam residency must be shown to the Aquatic Center cashier (valid photo drivers’ license or Merriam Parks & Recreation photo ID card). All non-swimmers will be charged an admission fee.
Non-Merriam “Johnson County Resident” Daily Fee
Youth 17 & under - $5.00
Adults 18 & over - $5.50
Proof of residency in Johnson County must be shown to the Aquatic Center cashier (valid photo drivers’ license or Merriam Parks & Recreation photo ID card).
Guest Fees/Non-Residents
Youth 17 & under - $5.00
Adults 18 & over - $5.50
For guests of Merriam Residents or Season Pass Holders. Guest must be accompanied by resident or pass holder.

Due to new software, ID cards created prior to 2007 will no longer be valid. Each season pass holder will need to have a picture taken and ID printed prior to visiting the aquatic center. There will be no charge for the initial ID card, however there is a $5 charge for replacement IDs.
ID cards will be scanned for admission to the aquatic center. You must have your Merriam Parks & Recreation photo ID to enter the facility, the copy of your receipt will not be accepted as your pool pass.

*Limit of six members per non-resident household may be included on season pass. If your household has more than six members, you may purchase additional single passes at a discounted rate of $20 per peron, or pay the daily guest fee.
All season passes include the cost of Photo ID card. If your ID becomes damaged or is lost, there is a $5.00 replacement charge.
Don’t have a drivers’ license? Photo ID cards are available for youth to use as proof of address. The cost is $5.00, you must bring proof of address when purchasing the cards. Verification of address will be required for all persons age 18 & older prior to ID card being produced.
Birthday Party Group Rates:
Have your child’s birthday party at the Merriam Aquatic Center. Schedule your party during our normal operating hours at least one week in advance, by contacting the Aquatic Center Manager at (913) 322-5517 after June 1.
Groups of 15 or more receive a $1 discount per age/resident category. Party host must be an aquatic center season pass holder, or Merriam or Johnson County resident.
Your party includes a reserved space in the south concessions area, arrangements may be made for hot dogs and drinks at an additional fee. You may bring in your own birthday cake!
NEW - Private Party Aquatic Center Rentals
Enjoy a pool-side private party, family reunion, or office party at the Merriam Aquatic Center!
The aquatic center is available for rental after rereational swim times from 8:15pm-9:45pm. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning April 7th. The facility will be available for rental from June 6 - August 17 with the exception of previously scheduled swim meet and special event dates.
The following applies to all aquatic center facility rentals:
- Applications must be compelted 7 days in advance.
- Maximum number of people in attendance is 75.
- Rental fee includes the cost of lifequards, slide attendants and manager on duty. Payment of fee must be made at
time of application.
- Food and drink (no alcohol) may be brought in, the concession stand will not be open for private rentals.
- All regular facility rules are in effect.
- Children and youth groups must provide one adult to every eight youth or children.
- Reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance. Rental payment is due upon reservation.
- Rental fees are non-refundable. Rentals may be re-scheduled if cancelled prior to start time (subject to facility availability).
