A Merriam household season pass costs $95.00 and includes all members of your immediate household. The season includes 14 weeks of operation. Assuming a household of 4 persons visits the Aquatic Center 3 times per week, that’s a cost of $.56 per visit...less than a fast-food hamburger! And, your season pass entitles you to free admission at our “Dive-In Theater” event.

Season passes are sold at the Irene B. French Community Center, 5701 Merriam Drive. If you did not have a season pass in 2007, you will need to visit the community center to purchase a new season pass. Office hours are: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-8:00pm; Saturday 8:30am-3:00pm and Sunday 1:30pm- 4:00pm. You must bring proof of Merriam residency to qualify for resident rates. Photo identification cards will be created for each member on your season pass. You will need to have your picture taken and ID created prior to visiting the aquatic center.

We now offer 3 convenient options to renew your 2006 season pass. If you purchased a 2007 season pass you have the option to renew by phone, mail, or in person at the Irene B. French Community Center. Phone and walk-in renewals are accepted during the following hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am- 8:00pm, Saturday 8:30am-3:00pm, Sunday 1:30pm-4:00pm. Note that our office will be closed on Saturday, May 17th (Turkey Creek Festival); Monday, May 26th (Memorial Day; and Friday, July 4th (Independence Day).

When renewing your season pass we will be updating your 2007 ID cards. If you need new or replacement cards there will be a $5.00 charge per card. You will need to visit the community center to have your “new” or “replacement” ID card created prior to visiting the pool.

• Phone In: Call Merriam Parks and Recreation at 913-322- 5550 to renew your season pass. Please have your credit card and 2006 ID cards ready prior to calling. We accept Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. Please plan in advance, you will need to allow 24 hours for ID card to be activated prior to using the pool.
• Mail In: Fill out the Aquatic Center Season Pass Application Form and mail with payment to: Swim Season Pass, Merriam Parks & Recreation, 5701 Merriam Drive, Merriam, KS 66203. You may pay by check or Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. A check must have a current address on it. Please plan several days in advance to allow receipt of payment in our office and activation of ID card prior to visiting the pool.
• Walk In: Visit Irene B. French Community Center, 5701 Merriam Drive. You may pay by cash, check, or credit card. Office hours are: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-8pm; Friday, 8:30am - 4pm; Saturday 8am-3pm; Sunday 1:30pm-4pm.

Season Pass Definitions:
Household: More than one person living in the same residence. Proof of address is required. Group home residents must purchase single memberships.

Non-Merriam residents are limited to 6 persons on a household season pass. Babysitters and relatives who are not living in your household will need to purchase their own passes, or may go as your guest and pay the daily fee. Verification of address will be required for all persons age 18 and over who are applying for a season pass.

Merriam Resident: A person whose permanent residency is within Merriam city limits . Verification of household address is required to qualify for resident rates. *Proof of residency includes: valid photo drivers license or two pieces of ID that illustrate your Merriam address such as utility bill, lease agreement, or voter registration card.

Season Pass Fees
Due to new software, ID cards created prior to 2007 will no longer be valid. Each season pass holder will need to have a picture taken and ID printed prior to visiting the aquatic center. There will be no charge for the initial ID card, however there is a $5 charge for replacement IDs.

ID cards will be scanned for admission to the aquatic center. You must have your Merriam Parks & Recreation photo ID to enter the facility, the copy of your receipt will not be accepted as your pool pass.

*Limit of six members per non-resident household may be included on season pass. If your household has more than six members, you may purchase additional single passes at a discount fee of $20 each, or pay the daily guest fee.

Verification of address will be required for all persons age 18 & older prior to ID card being produced.

All season passes include the cost of Photo ID card. If your ID becomes damaged or is lost, there is a $5.00 replacement charge.

Don’t have a drivers’ license? Photo ID cards are available for youth to use as proof of address. The cost is $5.00, you must bring proof of address when purchasing the cards.
