Turkey Creek Streamway Trail
Bring the family and your friends to the Turkey Creek Streamway Trail extension dedication ceremony at 10:00 AM at Waterfall Park (51st & Merriam Drive). We are celebrating the extension of the Streamway Trail from Waterfall Park, north on Merriam Drive to Antioch Road. Future plans are for the City of Overland Park to create a trail extension on the east side of Antioch Road and travel south over I-35. There the trail will join Overland Park's "future" Turkey Creek Streamway Trail along the buffs.
After the dedication, we encourage you to your bike or walk/jog on the trail. Both north and south routes available. Light refreshments will be served as well as free commemorative t-shirts while supplies last. Plus, shop the Merriam Farmers' Market at the Marketplace with fresh produce and free entertainment (Saturday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
