Sunday, October 5, 2008
noon to 5:00pm
Only during this special weekend can you enjoy the beautiful works of several well-known local artists hung on an easel or a tree along the scenic path of the Turkey Creek Streamway Park. All artwork will be for sale.
The art exhibit will be spread out along the 1.2 miles of the paved path, from 67th Street to 75th Street in Merriam, Kansas. Wear Comfortable walking shoes. Courtesy carts will be available for those who need assistance in traveling the trail.
In addition to the art, you can enjoy a fine early fall day walking among the trees, viewing the creek, and observing all the exquisite nature...but there’s more!
Encourage your young child’s interest in art...children can meander and play along the path, ponder the art, then participate in hands-on art projects.
