The Marketplace is an award-winning, community event pavilion located at 5740 Merriam Drive, in the heart of the downtown Merriam historic district. Plenty of paved parking, restrooms, drinking fountain, and park benches are provided for your shopping convenience.
The Marketplace is home to many special events and programs, including:
- Community Garage Sale, April 24, 2010 and October 16, 2010, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Merriam Farmers' Market, May 1st - October 9th, 2010
7:00am-1:00pm
- Flags 4 Freedom - Patriotic Flag Display
- Music @ the Marketplace Summer Concert Series (June & July)

- Mayor's Holiday Tree Lighting
