The Marketplace is an award-winning, community event pavilion located at 5740 Merriam Drive, in the heart of the downtown Merriam historic district. Plenty of paved parking, restrooms, drinking fountain, and park benches are provided for your shopping convenience.
The Marketplace is home to many special events and programs, including:
- Community Garage Sale April 24, 2010 & Oct. 16th, 2010, from 8am-5pm.
- Merriam Farmers' Market (May 1st - October 9th, 2010);
- 7am-1pm.
- Flags 4 Freedom Patriotic Flag Display;
- Music @ the Marketplace Summer Concert Series (June & July);
- Turkey Creek Car & Motorcycle Show; and
- Mayor's Holiday Tree.
