The project is generally described to include but not limited to the BASE BID of lining and/or replacing 148 feet of 18-inch CMP, 30 feet of 21-inch CMP, and 525 feet of 24-inch CMP. An ALTERNATE BID will include the lining and/or replacing 45 feet of 15-inch CMP, 294 feet of 18-inch CMP, 106 feet of 21-inch CMP and 621 feet of 24-inch CMP. They are located along Antioch Road, between W. 72nd Street and 74th Street, AND along Knox Avenue, between W. 52nd Street and W. 53rd Street (see exhibits). Alternative means, methods, and materials for pipe improvements will be considered.

Sealed proposals for the 2022 STORM PIPE LINING IMPROVEMENTS, in the City of Merriam, Kansas will be received from qualified bidders by the City of Merriam, Kansas at 9001 W. 62nd St., Merriam, Kansas 66202 until 10 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after the designated closing time will be returned unopened.
An optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled to be held via Zoom videoconference on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. All contractors who plan to submit a proposal on the project are encouraged to participate.
