The Johnson County Board of County Commissioners today extended the county’s stay-at-home order through May 10.
The commissioners heard from Johnson County’s Public Health Officer Dr. Joseph LeMaster as well as members from the COVID-19 Recovery Planning Task Force.

Merriam city offices, the Irene B. French Community Center, and the Tim Murphy Art Gallery will remain closed to the public through May 10 to comply with Johnson County’s stay-at-home order.
All Parks and Recreation activities and programs are canceled through May 10. Please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 913-322-5550 to receive a refund or credit for park activities and programs.
