City Can Help Pay for Your New HVAC, Windows, Insulation, and More

With the weather warming up, now’s the time to invest in your home! We can help pay for your improvements with a city grant.

The Residential Sustainability Grant reimburses Merriam homeowners 20% – up to $2,500 – for costs related to energy efficiency improvements, including for new:

  • HVAC or water heater
  • Insulation
  • Windows
  • Solar panels
  • Solar and wind power
  • Geothermal heating/cooling
  • Duct sealing
  • A home energy audit

Homeowners need to make at least a $2,500 minimum investment for eligible improvements. Learn more and apply online at merriam.org/grants.
