You Can Now Apply for a Franchise Fee Rebate

It’s time to fill out your Franchise Fee Rebate Program applications. 

The City of Merriam will reimburse eligible Merriam families for franchise fees on utility bills from last year.  

What You Need

  • 2022 gas, electric, and landline telephone invoices.
  • Proof of income for all household members. 

The City will accept applications for its program through May 1. Please contact the Community Development Department at 913-322-5520 with any questions.
