Merriam residents know how to party – and how to get paid to party!

Your neighbors this year took advantage of the City’s Neighborhood Block Party Grant. In all, 17 residents hosted block parties between June and October. They received $2,950 from the City to help pay for items, such as food, paper goods, party favors, and to hire entertainment.

You can host a block party next year and make it extra fun! Merriam City Councilmembers increased the maximum reimbursement amount from $200 to $300 per block party.

We’re accepting applications between April 1 and Oct. 15. Visit merriam.org/blockparty for more information.
