Merriam Drive Improvements Public Meeting

You’re invited to attend an open house style public meeting to discussstreet improvements on Merriam Drive from Johnson Drive to 5440 Merriam Drive.

Improvements Include:

  • Redesign of the roadway from Johnson Drive to 55 St.
  • Replacing Sidewalk and ADA sidewalk ramps throughout the project.
  • Installing a shared-use path from the Farmers’ Market place to the north.
  • Storm drainage improvements.
  • Repaving the road and putting down new pavement markings, including shared lane markings.
  • New curbs and gutters.
  • LED street lights.
  • Downtown enhancements, such as enhanced paving and additional on-street parking. 


The City has contracted engineering services with BHC Rhodes to design this project. At this public meeting, City staff and BHC Rhodes design professionals will provide a project overview.
