Merriam Community Center closes at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 and reopens on Thursday, Jan. 1 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. All City offices are closed Thursday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year's Day.

Each year, the Finance department prepares a formal Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, which is audited by an independent auditing firm. The report includes the independent auditors’ report, management’s discussion and analysis, and financial statements.
Merriam has earned a certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting for this report from the Government Finance Officers Association for 30 years.
