The City of Merriam is finalizing plans for the future design of Merriam Drive in downtown Merriam.

The Mid-America Regional Council Planning Sustainable Places grant partially funded two planning projects: Downtown Merriam and Merriam Connected Corridor.

These two plans cover Merriam Drive from Johnson Drive to Southwest Boulevard. Planning goals for the projects include combining complete street concepts, appropriate land uses, streetscape enhancements, and the design and layout of Merriam Drive.
