Merriam Drive Improvements Public Meeting

You’re invited to attend an open house style public meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Merriam Community Center.

City staff and design professionals will provide a project overview of street improvements planned on Merriam Drive from Johnson Drive to 55th St.

Improvements Include:

Repaving the road and putting down new pavement markings, including shared lane markings.
Replacing sidewalks and ADA sidewalk ramps throughout.
Installing a shared-use path from the Farmers’ Market to the north.
Storm drainage improvements.
New curbs and gutters.
LED streetlighting.
Downtown enhancements, including enhanced paving and additional on-street parking.
