Merriam Connected Corridor Plan Open House

You're invited to attend the Merriam Connected Corridor Plan public open house on Tuesday, April 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Merriam Community Center. 

The plan is a joint effort among Overland Park, Merriam, the Unified Government of Kansas City, Kansas and Wyandotte County, and Mid-America Regional Council to envision the future of the Merriam Corridor, a 4-mile stretch of Merriam Drive/Lane from W. 55th St. to S. 10th St.

KEY PLAN ELEMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Vehicular safety and traffic flow improvements 
  • Multimodal connectivity along and to the corridor 
  • Development and redevelopment opportunities 
  • Branding and streetscape enhancements 
  • Turkey Creek Trail enhancements and integration
