City offices are closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. The Merriam Community Center is open regular hours on Friday, and from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Celebrate America's 250th birthday with a patriotic concert at Merriam Marketplace at 2 p.m. on July 4.

Find your team of four and come play at Field Day Frenzy! There will be nostalgic games like potato sack races, human ring toss, and relay races, plus plenty of prizes! Healthy snacks and water provided.
