Join the worldwide celebration of music on June 21!

Merriam is joining Make Music Kansas City in 2023.

Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.

Festivities include a live painting performance by Coloratura, which immerses you in a multi-sensory celebration of art and music. Then, enjoy music performed by the Kansas City Symphony Mobile Music Box. We’ll end the night with a performance by Chill Phil, who will have you feeling like you are on a tropical vacation.
