Lifeguard

The City of Merriam Parks and Recreation Department is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Lifeguard to perform the below responsibilities:

• Enforces facility rules and policies;
• Ensures safety of patrons by responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years old.  Current certifications through American Red Cross to include: Lifeguard; Waterpark Lifeguarding; and CPR for Professional Rescuer or ability to obtain prior to season opening. 

Special Requirements

All employees must be available for mandatory training. Date to be determined by supervisor.
