We are thrilled to announce that the City of Merriam received outstanding results in its recent community satisfaction survey. Conducted every three years, this survey is a vital tool for evaluating our City's services through community feedback.

According to survey findings, an overwhelming majority of residents expressed high levels of satisfaction with many City services, including public safety, parks and recreation, city maintenance, community engagement initiatives, and city leadership. These results highlight our commitment to meeting the needs and expectations of our residents. Of those surveyed, 93% said they were “very satisfied” or “satisfied” with the overall quality of city services, 92% were satisfied with the overall quality of life in the City, and 80% were satisfied with the overall value received for tax dollars and fees.

"We’re incredibly grateful to our community for their positive feedback and continuous support," Mayor Pape said. "These results reflect our dedication to providing excellent services and maintaining open lines of communication with our residents."

In recognition of these exceptional survey results, the City Council extends its heartfelt thanks to all residents who participated in the survey. Community feedback is invaluable as we work together to enhance the quality of life in Merriam.

City Administrator Chris Engel said he’s grateful for our residents’ trust and confidence in our City. "We’re proud to serve such an engaged and supportive community," Engel said. "Your feedback helps us improve our services and reinforces Merriam's reputation as a great place to live, work, and play."

Thank you, Merriam residents, for making our City a wonderful place to call home!
