Get ready! Merriam's new library is set to open Wednesday, March 20. Johnson County Library will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Merriam Plaza Library at 9 a.m. Located next to the Merriam Community Center, the new library features natural light, reading nooks, and a green roof with more than 7,000 native plantings. The Antioch Library branch is permanently closing on Monday, Jan. 29. It's served our community since 1956. Learn more.
