The City of Merriam recently acquired the former Baker’s Marble Inc. property at 5718 Merriam Drive. When the business vacated, they left behind a large quantity of marble remnants. We’ve contacted local marble companies, but none are able to use them. So we’re opening it up to the community – if you can haul it, you can have it!
When: Sunday, September 14 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Where: 5718 Merriam Drive, Merriam, KS 66203 Who: Available only to Merriam residents and businesses (proof required at pickup)
First come, first served. Bring your own equipment, vehicles, and manpower to load and haul. The City will not provide tools or assistance.
Once the marble is gone, it’s gone!
