What are your top priorities or focus areas for the city?
More of the same. More economic growth and development, more places to dine and shop, more reductions in our Property Tax Mill Levy, more of the things that make Merriam a great place to live.
What’s one accomplishment you’re most proud of during your time on the council?
Being a part of getting Merriam Grand Station build and getting Merriam Grand Market going.
What’s your favorite local spot in the city?
The Turkey Creek trail.
What do you love most about living here?
We feel comfortable and safe living in Merriam.
What’s a fun fact people might not know about you?
My wife and I enjoy visiting National Parks. Along with annual visits to Rocky Mountain National Park, we have been east to Acadia, west to Denali, north to Isle Royale and south to Everglades.
What’s your vision for the city in the next 5-10 years?
Again, more of the same. Merriam continues to be a place where people want to live.
