Farmers' Market Vendor Application

Display of produce available at the Farmers' Market

Located in the Merriam historic district, the Merriam Farmers' Market offers a beautiful park environment with access to the Turkey Creek Streamway Trail and Werner Park.

The covered vendor spaces allowing a vendor to back into their stall along with an on-duty market supervisor, restroom facilities and free, paved parking within the Merriam Marketplace in an ideal venue for this weekly market.

Fees include occupational license. 

All space sales are final. There are no refunds.

The City of Merriam reserves the right to accept or reject any and all applications.

Returning Vendors

Saturday stall fee will be $400 per stall, a limit of two (2) stalls per vendor.  Applications must be received by February 16, 2024.

New Vendors

Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.  All applications will be dated and timed, then placed on hold until after the Friday, February 16 deadline for returning vendors from previous season.  Staff will begin reviewing new applications on Monday, February 19 and notification of acceptance will be made Monday, February 26. 

Daily Vendors

Applications can only be submitted during the week prior to the desired Satruday date.  Upon approval, vendors will be contacted to collect payment via credit card and receive their stall assignment.  Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.

Please allow 2 business days for staff to process your application. 

Staff will contact each applicant to process payment over the phone with a credit card.  We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.  For non-credit card transactions, please notify staff of preferred method of payment at time of phone call for additional directions.

Submission of this application in no way guarantees a stall assignment.  


After application is submitted:

Staff will review the application.  If stalls are available, staff will contact you no later than the Friday prior to the Saturday Market to assign a stall and collect payment via credit card.  

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  

Vendors must be ready to conduct business by 7 a.m.

There is no market Saturday, September 14, 2024 due to the Turkey Creek Car and Motorcycle Show.

Vendors that want to give out samples will be required to be certified to serve samples in 2024.  Any vendor wanting to serve samples must complete a ServSafe Starters Employee Online Course.  Vendors may incur a small fee to take the course. (The manager's course is NOT required)

The sale of eggs and frozen meat is permitted.

The sale of food related items, i.e. recipes; dried pasta, prepackaged food items like popcorn, will be permitted.

The maximum of four baked goods and four jewelry vendors at any time will be enforced throughout the year.

Any full season vendor who brings in a produce vendor that participates in 80% of the weekends during June - August will receive a $100 discount on their 2025 fee.  

Salsa, mustard and sauce concession vendors ONLY must attach a copy of General Liability Insurance Policy listing the City of Merriam as additionally insured.
