It's time to get organized! Applications for the Franchise Fee Rebate program open Thursday, Feb. 1.

The City of Merriam will reimburse income-eligible Merriam families for franchise fees on utility bills from last year. See if you're income-eligible.

What You Need to Apply

  • 2023 gas, electric, and landline telephone invoices. 
  • Proof of income for all household members.  

The City will accept applications for its program through May 1. Please contact the Community Development Department at 913-322-5520 with any questions.
