Brown Memorial Park 5040 Booker St, Merriam 66203 Brown Park, a 3.68-acre linear park. The initial park was obtained by the City of Merriam in July 1975 and was named for Esther Brown, a local resident who organized citizen support for the 1949 Webb v. School District 90 case. Merriam Historic Plaza 6304 E. Frontage Road, Merriam 66203 The Merriam Historic Plaza was established in August 2006 to pay homage to the former Merriam Park of 1880. This attraction houses the Merriam Visitors Bureau and complements other notable historic sites throughout Merriam.
